Engagement in the ES

Thank you all for your collaboration in creating a new ES Mission Statement.  Together we are answering the question “why are we here”!

Teachers Teaching Teachers

On December 22 we have the opportunity for a teachers-teach-teachers PD. The plan is to have 2 breakout sessions, and then a reflection session. We are looking for teachers who would be willing to facilitate a 25 minute session, and then repeat the session to a new group of participants.  If you would like to facilitate a session please complete this Google form. Write your idea and a brief description of what you would be covering.

English Language Literacy

As school we are focusing on the critical learner need of English Language Literacy during Q2.  Please take a moment to reflect on ways you can grow to better support our students.  The leadership team will offer feedback based on this rubric when we come to your room.

From the Design Team

The KISJ Design Team are working on a number of projects and one of them is improving the consistency and quality of our outward image. This includes the staff profile photos. Currently we have a mix of different 'looks' with various lighting backdrops. To address this the Design Team is taking new photos for all faculty.

Keep a lookout for a calendar invite to have your photo taken. If you are away, please respond with an alternate time as soon as possible. Professional dress (ties for males and the equivalent for females) is all you'll need. Then simply head over to the High School Dance room and make sure you get your name marked off. Thank you in advance and we'll see you then.
